The original swimming venue seems to have been the pool at the Inn on the Lake but the main venue was at Munstead Grange. This was owned by Colonel McGaw who also served as the Common Entrance invigilator. There was no chlorine so the pool was a murky green but that did not seem to diminish our endless enjoyment of the facility. There was a bit of a panic in 1968 when Munstead Grange was sold but Roger Head's parents saved the day when they provided theirpool for 1968 and 1969.
