food remembered

food i rememed most fondly was 'Oz pie' introdued by an Australian lady teacher who was there for a year (i think). Also when huge steaming puddings with either treacle, dates, etc wonderful! Couple of times i didn't 'pass' the clean hands test and was left out of the dining room until pudding time!
