Hillside School, Godalming

Roger: Kudos to you and yours for getting this site off the ground. As you know, I was at the Reigate end of things and we have no site except the courtesy of yours. What I feel might be profitably explored (if its not too late) is the relationship between Whickers and Bannister and how that played out in the postwar years particularly. For me, Reigate years were formative and the school particularly so. I was the beneficiary of many acts of personal kindness by the Bannisters, and I even have term bills my father kept from those days! Anyway, thanks again for all your good work on this project, which should touch many grateful ex-pupils. Cheers!

I'm Martin and I'm the one responisble for this and the previous website.  I was at Hillside for the last couple of years of its existence so know very little about the Reigate end of things.

It would be very helpful if you could write an article explaining that whole relationship and how you'd like the website to cover it.  I could, for instance have a separate category for the Reigate years and then sub groups for the various areas of interest.

If you sent that article to me that would give me most of what I need to be able to work out how best to cover it.
